A mother is devastated, she is howling with pain, yelling all she can in that dark and dingy corner of her four by four kholi. There was nobody to hear her yell and not a soul to pacify her, because outside her shack is a long winding lonely road. There was no existence of mankind for miles and miles ahead. The wind was at rest, the leaves didn’t rustle and no resonance of a barking dog, silence filled the air. Loneliness was already killing her, but no one knows what made her cry?

Losing something you love with all your heart isn’t really the grief you can ever overcome. Radha lost her baby. Her only means to live. She saw her child getting crushed under a car in front of her own eyes. Blood was all over and the accident was terrible. One lonely night, she was walking down the street t get a breath of fresh air with her child cuddled tight in her arms. She walked a long time s till she saw the face of mankind (in the evilest form).

The whole time she walked with her child in her arms the only thing that worried her was Aryans (her son’s) future. What kind of a person will he be? Will he make me proud? How much light is life going to bring in his existence? She was imagining and feeling every day of the Childs growth, and what she had in store for him. But who knows what’s in store for us tomorrow, life can change in the splits of a second. Talk about destiny, all those dreams hopes and expectations were snatched away from her in an instant. Her smiles were frowns and her faith just crumbled, like a deal soul in a living, rather breathing body.

This is how it happened…. On that abandoned road, were a few streetlights barely sufficient? There was this one light that was visible from a distance, but as it came closer it got brighter and brighter. That light changed radha’s life into darkness forever. A speeding car came down that road, as if the driver had jammed the accelerator, cutting across the wind. He came at a speek of 110kmph throwing beer bottles out of his half open window. He was definitely drunk, the speed took everything in its path. Just then, there was a loud cry, and silence set in again. The cry of a baby and no sight of a child.

Ironically the mother wasn’t hurt, not a scratch on a body, not a bruise on her arm. She opened her eyes and didn’t she Aryan, her vision was blur. After a few minutes when her sight cleared up she looked all over frantically for her baby, but alas! There was nothing. Just then she noticed something about then feet away it was blood draining into the gutter’s, and pieces of minced flesh, laying there saying so much without saying anything at all. The blood of her baby, the child who hadn’t even seen life,
He paid the price for another man’s folly. The same little child whose future was just being planned.
Simple, don’t drink and drive. You could take a life, but kill a number of people.

The unconscious mind might be defined as that part of the mind which gives rise to a collection of mental phenomena that manifest in a person's mind but which the person is not aware of at the time of their occurrence. our conscious mind cannot force us to do such things, that's when the time when our unconscious mind take over. it made us do things that has an inner motive...
things like hoping something to come back..
hoping things will be the same again..
wishing for things not to happen..
and it's usually done using subtle ways...

This is a four-part F.S. Observation...


February 12, 2010 (Friday)
We went to Bldg. 1 to observe for the second time. Ms. Aguaviva was the intern to be observe.
Her subject was Science- V with grade V-Sped. She started
her lesson with a review. Her lesson for that day was about the temperature of the stars and how it affects their colors. The students were very enthusiastic about the said activity. They were very eager to participate. At the end of her lesson, the students were able to determine the connection of the stars' temperature and their colors.
With regards to the technology that Ms. Aguaviva used, I can say that she managed to utilized it wiht expertise. Some of the materials that she used were flashlights, boxes with holes representing the stars and its colors and others. She let the students manipulate the models and there was an interaction among the students.
Ms. Aguaviva's role was a facilitator to the activity. She let the students explore the entire activity, though she has her own time to speak and explain some things.
The experience of watching a usual classroom activity was very exciting and knowledgeable.
Some teachers taught us the two kinds of observation namely: STAR and CROSS Observation.
Mrs. Hutamares also taught us about the approach Ms. Aguaviva used. The 4a's approach stands for:
A-ctivity. This is where the teacher will give an activity to the students as a sort of motivation.
A-bstraction. In this part, the teacher will give some meanings or construct some ideas regarding their topic.
A-nalysis. This is the part where the teacher will separate ideas from another in order to have a concrete idea. The cause and effect will also be determine.
A-pplication. Lastly, this is the part where the teacher will let the students apply what they have learned.

February 16,2010 (Friday)
The principal was busy that day that's why some teachers accompanied us. We observed first the Grade II- Sped. Their adviser was not around and they were an activity. I have noticed that the students were very disciplined. They were very quiet in doing the activity and they were very focus. They don't get easily destructed with the noise and disturbances of some of their classmates. After that we went to the class of Ms. Reyes and Mr. Milliare. Both of them were very good in terms of teaching. Though Ms. Reyes had some flaws but, nonetheless, her teaching was very satisfactory. Mr. Milliare, on the other hand, has his own way of making the students be at ease with him. We have seen the he is in good terms with his pupils. He also had a lot of motivations that made the learners interested on what he was teaching.
After that, we had an evaluation with the principal. We had some fruitful conversation with her for almost an hour.
Another accomplishment was done. Thanks!

February 26, 2010 (Friday)
We don't have an observation, instead, we spent the whole day cleaning the coverd court in the Gabaldon. I think this will be our group project in the school. Since the school is complete with equipment, this is our way of thanking the whole LWES Administration for their warm welcome to us and for giving us the privilege to observe in their prestigious school. What we had was a sort of replanting.
At the end of the day, we successfully done the general cleaning. There was a big difference in the covered court. The place became lighter and wider, and the plants were arranged according to the type of the plants.
It was a JOB WELL DONE and I think the Second Year Group deserves a TAP ON THE BACK.

March 1, 2010 (Monday)
This was our General Observation Day because it was also the General Demonstration Day of the interns. We first observed Ms. Aileen Montero. She was very prepared in terms of her visual aids, but sad to say, there were lots of flaws in her demo. She forgot some things in her lesson plan like the motivating questions and she sometimes forgot to SMILE.
Next was Mrs. Conchita Dotado. She has a very modulated voice and a cheerful face. No wonder her students love her! She managed to motivate her students and there were no flaws at all!
JOB WELL DONE for them.
In general, the interns did their very best.
We, us observers, got many tips on how to conduct a demo. Hopefully, we can use it when the time comes that we will be on their shoes!!

FS observation, friday february 5, 2010

I should have posted this last friday, but because of some circumstances I failed to do it... So here it is...


This morning, me and my groupmates went to building 1 to conduct our obcservation. The interns of PNU conducted the flag ceremony. When we got there, the principal was on her way to school so what we did was to go straight to Mrs. Lani Sario because she has a prepared activity for us. We had this activity called Phil IRI. Phil. IRI, also known as Philippine Informal Reading Inventory is an activity that test the ability of the elementary students in oral reading and comprehension. The students simultaneously went to us. They had an oral reading in English and Filipino and it was followed by a question-and-answer portion. It was amazing because almost all of the elementary pupils grade 5-6 answeres in complete sentences. It only proved that LWES teachers are well-dedicated to their jobs.
After the said activity, we went to the principal's office and greeted her a happy birthday. We talked about the activity and we had an agreement that me and my groupmates will not stay with our cooperating teachers. Instead we are goin to undergo different actuvities that will help us improve our teaching capabilities. Another thing is that, we are going to observe all the interns together with the principal. We agreed upon hearing the proposed plan for us. Personally, I think it is better than staying with the same cooperating teacher because we will have the chance to see lots of strategies and techniques of the diffrent teachers and interns of Bldg. 1.
Before I forgot, I would like to say that we were warmly welcomed by the students and teachers there. Hearing "good morning Ma'am" feels really great.
And it's nice to know that my former elementary teachers still remember me.

Checklist On How To Have A Good And Sound Relationship

1.)Accept your partner as he or she is physically and mentally. Your partner may not be tall or have the sense of humor but may be good in many other things. Look at the positive side and be happy with him or her.

2.)Communication is essential for any relationship to flourish. Share your feelings, your thoughts, and discuss your mutual plans for the future. Along with communicating, take the time to actually get to know your partner, and continue to know them as the years pass by. You might think you know each other that well, but, as times goes by, you and your partner both will mature, evolve and change. Time as well as the events that will happen to both of you throughout your relationship will change your relationship as well as your outlook on life. Don't be afraid of these changes, whether it happen to be your changing or your partner's at the time. Just remember to recognize those changes and communicate with your partner about them.

3.)Be loyal and show your partner that you are devoted to them, and only them. Be faithful to them as well as supportive. Your partner should be your confidante, your best friend, your safe haven in the storms of life as well as your exclusive lover. While you and your partenr will have loving relationships with family and friends, your relationship is exclusive and very special, and cannot be shared with anyone else.

4.)Spend plenty of quality time together, but remember to allow each other to have ample time alone. Even though you are in a relationship, and you want to spend time together enjoying your favorite activities, or just sit together and relax and talk over simple matters, each of you is still a separate individual with certain likes and dislikes. You both need time alone to enjoy hobbies that you might enjoy, but your partner doesn't. Don't think that because you are in a relationship, that you are joined at the hip and cannot do anything on your own. You both need equal time alone to think and organize your own thoughts or simply to wind down.

5.)Try to adjust to the maximum extent possible. Even then if it doesn’t work out, just leave it at that. Your partner will realize the effort you have made and will come to terms with you.

6.)Appreciation has its effect on every human being. It is the motivating factor for a human personality. So be honest and give sincere appreciation whenever your partner deserves it. Don’t procrastinate or be stingy with your words.

7.)The act of forgetting and forgiving is essential to the art of living. “To err is human”. So you must learn to overlook the mistakes of your partner. Stored anger and silent resentment will drain away the enthusiasm and will make you stop living.

8.)If you have done something wrong knowingly or unknowingly admit it. Don’t try to reason out when your spouse points out and drag it on.

9.)Go hand in hand with your partner in your life. Share your joys and sorrows however small they may be. There should be transparency in your relationship

. Never hide a fact, thinking of imagined consequences.

10.)Life has its ups and downs and its peaks and valleys. No one is always up or down all the time. Your partner may go through a bad patch but you should be the pillar of support. Problems do come to an end. Give a helping hand to your partner with patience till the problem crosses over.

11.)Clashes of opinion do happen and quarrels do occur, as we tend to loose temper in the spur of the moment. But see that you don’t carry it to the next day.

12.)Love is the undercurrent of life. When you follow a give and take policy in love as a partner, then it becomes a commodity. Give unconditional love. There lies the secret of enjoyment. When you give without expectation it returns in manifolds.

13..)Last, but certainly not least, work things out together. If you have a disagreement, which there are bound to be many throughout the existence of your relationship, don't let things get out of hand. Talk things over as calmly as possible and agree or learn to compromise on a solution to the problem, then kiss and make-up and go on. Don't hold grudges against each other. And don't make the mistake of taking each other for granted either. Life is full of uncertainties, but death is certain. None of us know exactly how much time we have on this planet, and how much time we have to enjoy the company of our spouses, so don't waste it on not getting along!
